Day One

Morning

Start the day off with some retail therapy at Bridgend Designer Outlet where you will find over 90 stores, designer and high street brands all with up to 60% off rrp everyday.

Lunch

After some retail therapy why not relax and at one of the cafes including Starbucks, Costa Coffee, or enjoy lunch at Pizza Hut or Harry Ramsden’s.

Afternoon

Just a 10 drive from the Designer Outlet is the heritage coast, a spectacular mix of rugged cliffs, golden sandy beaches and pretty little towns and villages. Spend the afternoon strolling along the sand at Rest Bay’s blue flag beach or join the surf camp for a surfing lesson.

Evening

Take a stroll through the rural, chic town of Cowbridge and stop off at one of the many local bars or dine at one of the stylish restaurants along the high street.

Day Two

Morning

Start the day with a visit to Cardiff Castle and explore 2000 years of Welsh history. Take a guided tour through spectacular apartments and climb the Norman Keep.

Lunch

Head for Mill Lane, the heart of the Cardiff café quarter and watch passersby at one of the many cafes and restaurants.

Afternoon

Spend the afternoon at Techniquest Science Centre, located in the heart of the newly developed Cardiff Bay. Voted the best science centre in Europe, Techniquest houses over 120 interactive hands-on exhibits, suitable for all ages. Alternatively visit the Doctor Who Up Close exhibition in the Red Dragon Centre. The phenomenally popular exhibition showcasing Doctor Who props, costumes and monsters was recently named the number one attraction in Cardiff

Evening

After dusk, visit Cardiff Bay for a pre-theatre meal before heading to the Wales Millennium Centre. Wales Millennium Centre opened in 2004 and has established itself as one of the World`s iconic arts and cultural destinations.
